We are keen to be as environmentally friendly as possible here at Skylark Vets – sometimes challenging in a medical setting! We recycle anything we can. Our taps are designed with water saving in mind and we don’t use paper products for cleaning. We also strive to use electronic systems over paper in our office where regulations allow and it makes sense to do so. Our clinic is surrounded by farmland, but we also foster a range of insect and bird-friendly plants on our premises.
This year, Skylark Vets formally embarked on our journey towards Bronze Accreditation with the iiE (Investors in the Environment). Through iiE accreditation, we will be better able to understand our own environmental impact, take meaningful action to reduce our carbon footprint and measure progress towards practice sustainability through an externally verified and credible scheme.
