Our Mobile Service

Our Fully Equipped Pet Ambulance

Our ambulatory service is is ideal for busy clients and those who are housebound or unable to travel with their pets. Our aim is always to make time with our vets and nurses as stress free as possible for pets and owners.

Our bespoke vehicle is fully equipped, enabling us to perform almost all medical, surgical and diagnostic procedures at your home. Standard consultations, routine health checks and medication checks are also offered on board.

What To Expect From A Home Visit

We are able to see your pet on our fully equipped ambulance on your driveway. In many cases, we consult in the vehicle because everything we might need is to hand. We ask you to bring your pet out to us in a suitable carrier or on a secure lead – we cannot accept liability for escaped animals. We may see patients that are unable to get into the van in your house or garden, and are happy to perform home euthanasias in the house or garden.

We may request to plug our ambulance into a standard 3-pin plug socket for appointments and procedures that require more power than our batteries hold.

We will treat your pets with compassion and understanding, and listen to the concerns that you may have. We will do our best to help wherever we can!

What We Need From You

Please specify mobile service at the time of booking so that we can give you an accurate idea of anticipated cost and availability in your area.

Traffic conditions and the unpredictable nature of our business means that we will probably be unable to specify an exact time of arrival. Please therefore prepare to keep a morning or afternoon free for your visit and we will endevor to update you as we go.

We regret we cannot legally treat patients curb-side. We must therefore be able to park on privately owned property. Our animal ambulance has a long wheelbase, so access to an appropriate off-road driveway is essential.

Please keep your pet confined before our arrival, keeping dogs in the house with a lead handy, restricting cats to one room from which they can be easily picked up, keeping birds within their cages, allowing small mammals to remain within their cages (ideally with only one companion) and keeping reptiles in an easily-accessible location.

If you require repeat medications or any of our natural supplements for your pet, we are always happy to bring them with us. Please let us know in advance.

We look forward to seeing you!

Locations We Cover

Typically, we operate within a 15-mile radius of Edenbridge covering Sevenoaks, (parts of) Tonbridge, Orpington, Oxted and Lingfield.

We visit many of the smaller surrounding villages including Knockholt, Cudham, Chevening, Chipstead, Pratt’s Bottom, Badgers Mount, Halstead, Chelsfield, Otford, Downe, Ide Hill, Penshurst, Sundridge, Dormansland, Hever, Cowden, Four Elms and Leigh.

As you would expect, our mobile appointments diary is largely dictated by fluctuating patient demand. We are therefore only able to accurately advise on availability individually at the time of booking. We do try to remain flexible wherever possible and we will always do our best to find a solution to meet your needs. Whenever possible and in the spirit of efficiency for all, ambulatory visits are often grouped by location.

Home Euthanasia

We understand that saying goodbye is the most difficult part of pet ownership, so we are here to support you through every step.
Making the decision to have your beloved pet put to sleep is never easy. When the time does come to say goodbye, we offer a home visit euthanasia service. This allows your pet to stay in the peaceful surroundings of their own home, surrounded by family.

We are also able to advise on cremation options so that your pet’s ashes can be returned to you, if you wish.
